Members of the Independent Youth Network of Thaha Municipality in Makwanpur staged a motorcycle rally on February 4 against the general strike called by the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Dahal-Nepal group. During the rally, they chanted slogans such as "Abolish the practice of bandh" " Don't hurt the people in the name of bandh".

The rally reached Khalde Bazaar through Shikharkot, Thanabazar, Okharbazar, Dandagaun, Ghartikhola and Phantabazar. Earlier, the protesters also marched in Shikharkot and Thanabazar. In the process, they also burnt tires at Shikharkot and Dobato.
