'Performance Art' was staged in the civic movement organized in Pokhara on February 6, along with the poem recitation programs against the decision of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to dissolve the House of Representatives.

This art, which is not very popular in Nepal, is shown through gestures, acting or music. On the advice of artist Sunil Sigdel, a team led by Sharad Bhandari performed this 'Performance Art' where the faces of the nine artists were covered with bandages drawn with open eyes symbolizing that the government is trying to cover up the wrong deeds and the laughter symbolizing that the laughter is being suppressed.
