Transport halt in Bi election area

Kathmandu,Upnirvachanma yatayat thapp. today 2nd constitution assembly 2070 by-election, the vehicles are barred to drive in the area near to bi -election, said by district administration office . Vehicular movements have been halted around the constituencies where the Constitution Assembly (CA) bi-elections are being held on Sunday. Vehicles have been prohibited to enter around Kathmandu Constituency no.2 on Sunday from 5 am, until the voting ends, said District Administration Office, Kathmandu. During the time of by-elections , vehicles will not be allowed to operate at Kathmandu ward no. 2 and 35 and other 9 VDCs of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, said Chief District Officer Basanta Raj Gautam. Only the vehicles with pass will be allowed to operate, however, those heading towards airport are not obstructed after showing their flight tickets, said SP Narayan Singh Khadka. More then 1000 police personnel have been mobilised at the election constituencies for security reasons. Since, President Ram Baran Yadav will be making his official appearance at the Bhote Jatra in Lalitpu, today, the arrangements has been made for his programme accordingly. Vehicles have been prohibited at Baneshwor, Koteshwor, Gothatar, Pepsicola, Gaurighat among other places. Vehicles heading towards Kathmandu Constituency-2 from Gaushala, Dhobikhola, Setopul, Ratopul have also been diverted for the day. Similarly, vehicles entering to Kathmandu from Bhaktapur side have been diverted to Balkumari from Koteshwor. As per the security deatails, no vehicles are allowed to stop on their route.
