Police have arrested 56-year-old Harka Bahadur Thami of Bhimeshwor Municipality-1, Dolakha, on February 11, on the charge of attempting to rape a 27-year-old woman.

According to Inspector Anjan Koirala, the victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on February 9, alleging that Thami tried to rape her on February 7 when he was in her house for performing traditional healing. Health check-up of the victim was conducted at Provincial Hospital, Charikot, on February 8.
