Nepali Congress on Monday organized a protest assembly in Siraha as a part of its nationwide protest program against the dissolution of the parliament. At the protest rally organized in Dhangadhi Bazaar in Siraha, Nepali Congress leader Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat Mahat, who is also a former minister, suggested Oli and Prachanda hire better lawyers than to ask the court to give a decision regarding parliament dissolution. He also asked people to have faith in the court and the constitution.

Mahat reiterated that the Congress should not hold a rally on the issue under consideration and ask the court to do this or that. He argued that the court's decision will not be affected by the protest rallies.
