The government is yet to take steps to make women feel safe in the country, they said. They claimed that the government is yet to adopt a fair approach to solve the issues of gender-based violence. According to National Alliance of Women Human Right Defenders, the government is in process of registering a bill on GBV in the Parliament. “The bill was prepared to achieve gender equality and end gender-based violence, which we believe would be passed soon.” Rally, awareness campaigns, interactions and regular sit-in protests are being organised in various districts in all five regions to demand justice for GBV victims and curb such crimes. महिल
