Locals have blocked the road on Jaleshwor-Janakpur road in Pipara on February 23 alleging that a couple has gone missing in Pipra-5 Sahodwa of Mahottari district. They obstructed transportation service along Jaleshwor-Janakpur road demanding an investigation into the incident and demanded action against the culprit.
According to the family, 65-year-old Mosafir Jha and 60-year-old Geeta Devi of Sahodwa went missing on the morning of February 21 and claimed that an unidentified group attacked the couple and made them disappear. According to locals, Jha is a witness in a land dispute and he had a dispute with the landlord.
