Saptari/June 23 Police have arrested Shatrughan Sah and his mother Sumitra Sah on charge of killing wife Nagina Sah, 25, of Pansera VDC-5 on June 22. The duo was arrested from home while trying to flee after killing the woman, said police. Shatrughan is held at the Area Police Office Rupani and Sumitra is kept in the custody of the District Police Office. The victim had bruises in her neck and other parts of the body. According to locals, the couple was engaged in spats frequently of late. The victim, who ran away following a beating was dragged towards home by the accused on June 21 and strangled to death, said locals. Post-mortem of the deceased was conducted at Lahan Hospital on June 23, said APO Kadarbona. SP DInesh Amatya said that investigation was ongoing into the incident.
