Siraha, bahuvivahka aaropitlaai ek varsha kaid faisala. Siraha/ June 23 The District Court of Siraha has slapped one year sentence to Raj Kumar Yadav, 35, of Tarigana Govendapur VDC-8 for polygamy. The court acquitted his second wife Pun Kumari Yadav, 32. A single bench of district court judge Binod Kumar Pokhrel gave the verdict on June 22, according to district attorney Rajesh Kumar Katuwal. Bibha Kumari Yadav, 32, first wife of the accused, had lodged a complaint at area police office on September 6 against her husband on charge of polygamy. The accused was arrested by the police on September 13, said DSP Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal of area police office. He was released on bail by a court order on September 24.
