Police have arrested 54-year-old Birbal Rai of Arun Rural Municipality-6, Bhojpur, on March 9, on the charge of raping a 31-year-old woman. The victim’s side had lodged a complaint at District Police Office, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on March 5. Inspector Pradip Lama of the District Police Office, Bhojpur, said they have arrested the accused based on a complaint lodged. A Health check-up of the victim was conducted at Bhojpur District Hospital on March 5.
