Kapilvastu/ June 25 Family of a 12-year-old girl has lodged a complaint at district police office on June 24 accusing Prem Shankar Yadav, 30, of Rangapur VDC-7 of attempting to rape her while she was alone at home on the night of June 23. The victim managed to flee the scene when the accused attempted to rape her as she was sleeping in the corridor. He was later arrested by the police on the same day after the locals informed the police about the incident. The locals protested against the incident in front of District police office on June 24. The locals have demanded immediate action against the culprit.
