Police have arrested 23-year-old Prince Thapa and 22-year-old Lok Bahadur Thapa from Dumrebesi, on March 13, on the charge of attacking on-duty police personnel.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Surendra Gurung was attacked there during a dispute between the two parties during the volleyball tournament held in Bhimad Municipality-1 Dumrebeshi, Tanahu, on March 12. ASI Gurung was there to settle the dispute. Gurung is undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital, Pokhara. According to Inspector Jagdish Regmi, the arrested accused were kept in Area Police Office, Belchautara. Regmi said they were searching for other others involved in the incident.
