The Nepali Congress Regional Committee padlocked the office of the Chief Administrative Officer Rabin Magar of Sakela Rural Municipality of Khotang for half an hour on March 26 alleging irregularities in the drinking water project and questioning the transparency of the Saure Ghattekhola Drinking Water Project.
The drinking water project is for the people of Hupapu and Naulakharka in Sakela Village Municipality-4, Mattim Manebhanjyang. Chief Administrative Officer Magar was not in the office when the office was locked.
