A group of four or five people brutally beat Amar Limbu, a resident of Sunsari in Gongabu of Kathmandu, for teasing someone else's wife while playing Holi. The victim stated that the people who beat him were drunk.
Police launched an investigation into the incident after a video of the inhumane beating on the street surfaced on social media on March 28 and arrested three persons involved in the incident. Among the arrested are 22-year-old Bharat Gurung, 25-year-old Som Bahadur Gurung, and 25-year-old Dipendra Kumar Thapa.
