Three boys have been residing in Khandbari Prison for years as there was no one to take them in their guardians were sentenced to prison.
The boys are living in an overcrowded, smelly place deprived of education and health facilities.
Ujjawal Dhami, 15, and Pujan Khadka, 6, of Madirabeni6 and Santosh Pariyar, 5, of Mawadin5 are children spending life in prison afor their parents' crime.
Dhami came to the prison at the age of 7 when both of his parents were jailed. Pariyar came here two years ago after his mother was sentenced to 10 years in jail for the murder of her husband. Khadka came to the prison with his mother Gita who was sentenced to 10 years in jail for the murder of her step-daughter.
