The constitution of 2015 has made the provision of citizenship a little easier than that of the Interim Constitution of 2006.  Five years after the promulgation of the constitution, even the people who have been considered as citizens by the constitution have not got citizenship due to lack of enactment of the constitution. Until the law is enacted, the old law should be in force, but most of those who go for citizenship have been turned away saying that the law has not been passed by the parliament.
