Dang/ June 30 Kumari Sarki, 45, of Bijauri VDC-7 has been injured after she was severely beaten by her husband Tek Bahadur Karki, 46 on the night of June 29. The accused attacked her with a sharp weapon and seriously injured her in an inebriated state over a family dispute said Dilli Sarki, brother of the victim. She sustained head, hands, and face injuries including several bruises on her body. The victim is undergoing treatment at Rapti Zonal Hospital in Tulsipur. The accused was arrested by the police on the same day and the investigation is underway, police said.
