The constitution of Nepal does not deprive any Nepali citizen of the right to citizenship. However, many young men and women are still stateless. Being stateless is a state of 'statelessness'. Citizenship is an important basic document for establishing a legal relationship between the state and the individual. However, there is news in Annapurna Post daily that people are deprived of state services due to lack of citizenship.
