Biratnagar,balatkaar ko arop ma shikshak pakrau. BIRATNAGAR: Police today arrested a teacher of the Biratnagar-based Gograha Higher Secondary School for allegedly raping his own student. Deependra Bishwas, a permanent resident of Thalaha, Morang, was arrested on the charge of raping a 14-year-old student of the school. Police arrested him acting on an FIR lodged by the victim’s family. As per the FIR, Bishwas, a married man, had long been sexually abusing the victim by calling her in his apartment professedly to guide her in her studies. According to DSP Prabhu Prasad Dhakal, police have taken the teacher in custody and started investigation. The rape victim has been admitted to a hospital for medical check-up.
