Employees of the Manakamana Brick Industry in Patpar, Shivraj Municipality-8 have beaten the employees of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) who were assigned to control electricity theft. According to NEA, Saroj Tharu and Mathura Prasad Chaudhary were injured in the incident. 

A five-member NEA team had arrived at the industry to collect Rs 219,000 in arrears that they had not paid in a long time and to stop the electricity leakage,' the industry used hooking for the power supply. While NEA employees were taking 2 out of 3 hooked motors, 6/7 people of the industry attacked them.

Police arrested two persons on the charge of being involved in the incident. Among the arrested are Sushil Kumar Shukla and Ananda Kumar Shukla of Patpar in Shivaraj Municipality-8.
