A team of Nepal Army defused a socket bomb found near Ncell Tower in Saptami Market of Miklajung Rural Municipality-2 on April 21. Locals had informed the police after a suspicious item was found in a green bag near Ncell's tower on April 20.

According to police, the rusty old socket bomb may have been planted with the intention of spreading terror. Near the socket bomb, locals have also found handwritten leaflets by the Communist Party of Nepal (Rebel Group), with slogans against the Prime Minister and demanded the repeal of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement and the provision of employment to the youth in the country.
