Police arrested a 45-year-old Sarkina Chepang, on May 15, on the charge of killing 65-year-old Gopi Praja with a sharp weapon in retaliation against his rape attempts. Police recovered a sickle, a sharp traditional weapon made of iron from her. Gopi was found dead 50 meters below bridge no.3  of Ichchhyakamana  Rural Municipality-5, Chitawan, on May 14.
