NSU leader arrested for protesting in front of president's residence

Police arrested a student leader of the Nepal Students Union (NSU) protesting in front of Sheetal Niwas alleging President Bidhyadevi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of acting unconstitutionally. The student leaders staged a protest after the President issued the ordinance directly despite the provision to make laws from the parliament. Leader Dujang Sherpa has demanded the immediate release of the arrested NSU's Tribhuvan University leader.
