ANNFSU and Samajwadi Student Union organize joint protest in Province 2

All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) and Samajwadi Students Union, sister organizations of the CPN-UML Madhav Nepal group, staged a joint protest against the parliament dissolution on May 21 in various locations (Janaki chowk and Rajbiraj) in Janakpurdham of Province No. 2. They alleged the move taken by President Bhandari and Prime Minister Oli as unconstitutional.
They further said that the announcement of the election at a time when the people should be provided easy treatment during the Corona epidemic is a violation of the constitution. The rally started from the Kali Temple in Rajbiraj and went around different parts of the city. It reached Darshan Chowk and turned into a corner rally. Demonstrators marched following health safety standards.
