The massive civil movement staged a protest against the government amid the prohibitory order in Kirtipur, Kathmandu on May 26. The activists expressed outrage against the announcement of the election by dissolving parliament at a time when the country is grappling with the effects of the Corona outbreak. They carried placards with slogans demanding better health services, oxygen supply, and the Covid-19 vaccine. Writer/journalist Narayan Bagle, writer Yug Pathak, and other activists participated in the demonstration.
