Mahottari/July 13 Rita Kumari Khatwe, 30, of Kanchanpur Tole in Ramgopalpur VDC-3 has filed a complaint against her husband Manohar Khatwe, 35, at District Police Office on July 13 for expelling her from the home. According to Rita, her husband forced her out of the home on July 6 accusing her of not being able to produce a child. “He used to beat me in drunken state but this time he forced me out of the home”, Rita said. She added that she had agreed for the compromise twice in the past but her husband had not changed his behavior making her determined this time around to take bold step. I have had miscarriage twice in the past because of his physical assault, she further said. ASI Rama Thapa of Women and Children Service Centre at District Police Office said she was exasperated as the husband had failed to mend his ways. She added that both parties had been summoned for discussion and that they would be suggested to file the case at court. Ish
