Armed robbers shot woman in Mahottari

A group of 6-7 armed robbers looted the house of local Ram Karan Sah in Loharpatti Municipality-6 of Mahottari district on June 7. The robbers shot at Ram Narayan's 45-year-old wife Gayatri Devi Sah, while she was shouting for help.
According to the police, Gayatri, who was injured in the shooting, is undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur. She was shot in the right thigh. The robbers stole NRs 25,000 and gold jewellery. The police are investigating the incident.
