Police arrested two persons on June 13 on the charge of attempting to assault a health worker at Gokuleshwor Hospital in Shailyashikhar Municipality-9 of Darchula. The arrested are identified as 30-year-old Lokendranath Yogi and 30-year-old Narendranath Yogi of Baitadi Dilasani Rural Municipality-6. They allegedly attempted to assault the health workers of the hospital saying that the newborn baby died due to the negligence of the health workers.

32-year-old  Basantinath of Shailyashikhar Municipality-1 was admitted to Gokuleshwor Hospital on June 12 for delivery. The baby was surgically removed shortly after the woman was admitted to the hospital. The baby died 4/5 minutes after birth.
