The leaders of the Nepal Students' Union (NSU) padlocked the office of the Nepali Congress Regional Working Committee of Morang Constituency No. 4 on June 17. The committee had made the proposed list of active members public, which included the names of the members close to them and excluded those who are supposed to be active members.

A statement issued by the NSU of Morang Constituency No. 4 has drawn serious attention to the fact that the party's religion and doctrine have been forgotten by not including the names of other candidates and also raised the question of whether the Nepali Congress party is democratic or not.
