Nepal Student Union (NSU) Gulmi Kathmandu Liaison Forum burnt the effigy of Prime Minister KP Oli in Kathmandu in protest of the government's decision on dissolution of the House of Representatives, price hike, and exploitation of chure belt. They also staged a torch rally protesting the government's move. During the protest, they chanted anti-government slogans. Police had intervened during the burning of the effigy. Meanwhile, some students were taken under control by the police.
