A post-mortem report has shown that Khima Khadka, a 30-year-old resident of Darma Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 of Salyan was strangled to death. The deceased went missing on June 14 and was found dead in a local river on Julne 15.

Khima's husband who had been living in Simla, India for eight months for employment, is back in Nepal on June 18. Khadka's family has been claiming that Khima was killed after being raped. Police said that the claims of rape can only be proved or falsified after receiving the report. F
