Principal Bhakta Bahadur Karki of Bal Jagriti basic school of Beni Municipality-5, Baguwa, Myagdi, is missing for the past three days. Meanwhile, police arrested a suspected youth from Kushma Municipality of Parbat, while he was fleeing. According to the DSP Shyamkumar Rao, the arrested youth had given an incomplete statement that he was involved in the assault of the principal over a dispute on June 20. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused threw the body of the principal in the Myagdi River after killing him in a deadly attack. The police are further investigating the incident.
