Socket Bomb Diffused by Nepal Army

Nepal Army has diffused the socket bomb found at the house of one Prem Bahadur Thapa, 45, of Potedar in Manikapur9.

The bomb disposal team of Ranja-based 4 no. battalion of Nepal Army diffused the bomb placed at the roof of the pig shed on November 17. Thapa had informed the police immediately after finding the bomb.

A police team from police post Ganapur had secured the place. Police suspect that Janatantrik Tarai Madhes Mukti Party (Bhagat Singh) might have planted the bomb as the group had been demanding money from Thapa from a long time.
