NSU stages torch rally in front of Public Youth Campus, three arrested

The Nepal Students' Union (NSU) staged a torch rally in front of the Public Youth Campus at Dhaebichaur in Kathmandu on June 29 evening to protest against the dissolution of the parliament. The General Secretary of NSU accuses the police of intervening in their protest. Police arrested NSU cadres from the protest, among the arrested are Sagar Khatri, Prajwal Adhikari, and Sagar Bhatt.
The Joint Struggle Committee of five student organizations, including the NSU, which is part of the opposition alliance, is staging a nationwide protest against the dissolution of the parliament.
