Students' organizations of five parties in the opposition alliance staged a torch rally against PM KP Oli government in front of the Prithvinarayan Campus Gate in Pokhara. The Nepal Students Union, Akhil( Revolutionary), UML Madhav Nepal, ANNFSU, Samajwadi Vidyarthi Union, and Akhil (sixth) staged a joint demonstration on July 3. There was a minor dispute between protestors and police after police intervened in the rally. They also raised their concerns about Kaligandaki diversion project, increase in the price of petroleum products, waiver of tuition fees of the lockdown period.
