Yuva Sangha Nepal, a sister organization close to the ruling CPN-UML, and ANNFSU, a student organization, burnt effigies of supreme court judges including Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana in Banepa, Kavre along with a torch rally in different places of Banepa.
Central leaders of the youth association, central leaders of the students, youth district president Bikram Chaulagai, student president Govinda Upreti and others said that the decision of the Supreme Court has led the country towards a partyless system. Police intervened in the youth and student protest.
