The victim's side lodged a complaint against his 19-year-old step-daughter Tara Bk on July 28 alleging that she had beaten and injured 70-year-old Jaisra BK of Narayan Municipality-7. She was allegedly beaten by her step-daughter on July 27 with firewood for advising her to do housework.
Tara BK had been taking care of her 8 step-children since her husband died and the children's mother got re-married. District Police Office Dailekh informed that a search is on for Tara who escaped after beating her stepmother. According to Dr Sushila Katuwal, the injured woman got eight stitches on her head.
