The body of 7-year-old Priti Yadav, daughter of Birendra Yadav of Baramjhiya in Ganeshman Charnath Municipality Ward No. 10, who had been missing since July 26, was found on July 30. The body was discovered floating in a decomposed state in an old well in a field about a kilometer away from the house. According to the deceased's relatives, she went missing 10 minutes after leaving the store to buy some food. The locals suspect she was murdered and her body was dumped in the well. However, police stated that the incident is under investigation and that the cause could not be determined until the post-mortem report was received.
