2 Nepali killed, 1 injured in Afghan bomb blast

One Nepali was killed on the spot while another succumbed to injuries at a hospital in a suicide bomb attack in Kasala, Afghanistan on Tuesday. According to Kabul-based Nepali journalist Subel Bhandari, a militant disguised as an Afghani Intelligence Agency officer attacked the Gibson camp nearby the Kabul Airport where American officials were residing, on Tuesday at around 6:30 am. Ganga Limbu of Morang, who was deployed by Dianacore Security Company for camp security, was killed on the spot, while Anil Gurung of Chahabil in Kathmandu succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment at Bagram-based American Base Hospital. Another injured Megh Gurung is undergoing treatment at the same hospital in Bagram. Two Indian nationals, one Kenyan national, two Fiji nationals and two Nepali were among the deceased in the incident. Nepali Embassy based in Islamabad, Pakistan has been informed about the incident.
