Demonstration in Koteshwor demanding re-establishment of Land Commission

Landless squatters' organization led by CPN-UML leader Shanta Chaudhary staged a demonstration in Koteshwor, Kathmandu on August 8 demanding reinstatement of the Land Problem Resolution Commission. Shanta Chaudhary, the chairperson of the Nepal Landless Squatters Association, warned that they would intensify the agitation if the land commission was not re-established.
