Dhanusha police arrested three hotel employees, including hotel owner Amarnath Gupta, on August 10, on the charge of brutally beating a 13-year-old local boy who went to play in the elevator of Hotel Gayatri Kunj Guest House in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 5. The two other accused are identified as Ram Pukar Thakur, 33, and Subhash Kumar Sah, 38, of Manara Siswa Municipality in Mahottari.
When the locals saw the boy being locked in the elevator and beaten, they immediately informed the local Janaki police station. The boy's father Sanjay Thakur was also beaten by the employees on the instructions of hotel manager Amarnath Gupta.
