NC leaders and cadres protest in front of Deuba's residence

Leaders and cadres of the Nepali Congress (NC)  staged a protest in front of the private residence of the Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at Budhanilkantha to put pressure to ensure the general convention within the time limit. Leaders and cadres of all the provinces of the party staged a demonstration and sit-in on August 12. 

They are scheduled to present Nepal's constitution and party legislature to top leaders, including Deuba. A meeting of the Central Committee of the Nepali Congress is going to be held at the residence of President Deuba today. As per the constitution, Deuba's term is coming to an end on September 8. They also protested against the meeting being held at Deuba's residence today regarding the postponement of the convention.
