Chunuk Lal Chaudhary of Godavari Municipality, Ward No. 8, Fakalpur was accused of attempting to rape an 11-year-old girl by assaulting her. Ward member of Ward No. 8 Rajesh Chaudhary admitted that the case was settled was done by imposing a fine of Rs 3.5 lakh on Chunuk Lal.

Ward member Chaudhary said that they gave Rs 1.5 lakh to the families of the victims, one lakh for the motorcycle repair after a person had a motorcycle accident while searching for Chunuklal and the remaining one lakh was spent on the food for villagers who went to search for the accused.
