Police on Sunday arrested 23-year-old Navin Chaudhary of Godawari Municipality-6 Badayaka in Kailali on the charge of attempting to rape a 63-year-old elderly woman.  Police arrested Chaudhary on the basis of a complaint lodged by the elderly woman on August 6 at Area Police Office Malakheti, accusing the young man of attempting to rape her the same day. The accused had gone on the run following the incident. The victim underwent a medical examination at Padama hospital in Attariya on August 14.
