Two youths were arrested on the charge of attacking a sleeping woman with Khukuri in Khotang. Police arrested 28-year-old Tisan Rai of Aiselukharka and 27-year-old Mankumar Sarki of Kavre, on August 17, on the charge of attacking 38-year-old Sanika Rai of Tallo Katike in Mahadevsthan of Halesi Tuvachung Municipality-7 with Khukuri on July 28. Tisan Rai is the nephew of the victim Sanika. During the attack, Sanika sustained serious injuries in various parts of her body including her hands, scalp and head. The accused could not be identified because of the mask.
