Dhading, Luga ra gahana khosera ghar nikala. July 29, Radha Dhakal, 45, of Nilkantha Municipality-3 has been beaten and expelled from home by her husband Dammar Dhakal, 50, on July 28. Former VDC chairperson of the Baseri VDC, Dammar stripped her clothes and jewellers before forcing her out of the house. According to Radha, Damma in inebriated condition, punched her and forced her out of the house without even allowing her to put on clothes. DSP Prakash Malla said that the accused has been arrested following a complaint lodged by the victim with support from women human rights defenders. Women's rights activist Radhika Sapkota said that the victim cannot move her one hand due to the beating while there are bruises on her body. The victim is kept at a safe house. According to the victim, her husband beats her regularly and had even injured her with a knife. Police said that action would be taken after investigation.
