Shekhnur Aalam,42, of Aadarshkotwala Municipality-8 based journalist lodged a complaint at police claiming that he was beaten physically while collecting the news by Mayor Mustufa Ansari,45, Chulahi Sah,30, Shesh Aptab, 30, and Shes Saddam of same municipality-7,3,8 respectively on August 29.
The victim claimed that due to his dispute created when he was collecting news about the ambulance of municipality with Shekh Safurdin the driver of the ambulance on August 28, the victim was beaten then by Mayor of Municipality. According to victim, he was beaten and injured and later admitted in Kallaiya Hospital.
Likewise, ambulance driver Shekh Safyedhan, demanded the arrest of the Journalist Shekhnur Aalam claiming that Aalam attacked Safyaedhan who sustained major head injuries due to the attack, on August 29 through a press release. According to the press release, Journalist Aalam's group attacked the meeting held in the municipal office including staff of health department, ambulance driver and mayor regarding contamination of Covid-19. The press release also mentioned that if the journalist is not arrested then they'd start a demonstration.
