Inmates of Lalitpur Nakkhu prison staged a demonstration chanting slogans against 8 watchmen prisoners at the prison demanding their dismissal. Inmates lodged complaints to Jailer Chirinjivi Giri claiming that the watchmen have been committing loot and scam on rations, not making telephone services available, and not giving full services provided by the government to the inmates. The demonstrators have also demanded the transfer of the watchmen prisoners Shiva Chaudhary, Rakesh Adhikari, Sabin K.C., Shambhu Karki, Arunkumar Mahato, Bishal Bista and Co-leader Devendra Timalsina ad Dipak Karna.
