Students close to Madhav Kumar Nepal assaulted in Kantipur College

Kathmandu: Students close to Madhav Kumar Nepal led CPN (Unified Socialist) have been beaten by students close to the CPN (UML). Manoj Chand, a central committee member of the CPN (Unified Socialist)'s student wing ANNISU and President of the party's student wing at Kantipur City College, Dipendra Bohara and Rajan Bista were beaten up by a team including CPN-UML leader Ain Mahar at Kantipur City College on Tuesday. ANNISU President Sudesh Parajuli issued a statement condemning the incident and demanding action against student leader Mahar and others.
