Ilam, Bharat Pathauna lagiyeka 4 balika ko uddhar. July 30, Four girls of Chureghantin in Ilam Municipality have been rescued by the police and handed back to the respective guardians on July 30. The girls, aged 12 and 13 and students of grade VI and VII, were found at the house of Santa Maya Lohar in Barbote VDC-4. They were missing from home since July 25. “We know tha the girls were being taken to India in the pretext of good income but we are yet to identify who was taking them to India”, Inspector Kabindra Karki said. The family members of the girls had informed police after the girls failed to return home and could not be traced in all the possible places.
